ABOUT KLEIN EQUINE

Raised in Durand, Illinois, Brock Klein developed a passion for horses at an early age. He began riding and roping at just four years old and continued building his skills through lessons and hands-on experience. By the age of 15, Brock was starting and training his own colts, developing the practical foundation that still consists in his program today.

Brock continued pursuing his passion for horses at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls, where he earned a pre-veterinary degree in 2021. During his time there, he was actively involved in both the UWRF Rodeo Team and the Colts in Training Program, gaining valuable experience in colt starting, performance horses, and horse management.

After graduation, Brock combined his pre-veterinary education with hands-on experience by apprenticing under highly respected farriers in the region. This background gave him a strong understanding of equine movement, soundness, and hoof care, helping shape the balanced approach he brings to every horse.

Today, through Klein Equine, Brock serves a full book of farrier clients across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin while also training and offering a consistent selection of ranch, rope, and reining horses for sale. His program focuses on producing practical, confident horses through consistent handling, solid fundamentals, and thoughtful progression.

Raised in Durand, Illinois, Brock Klein has worked with horses since childhood. He trained colts by 15, studied pre-veterinary science at UW–River Falls, and apprenticed under experienced farriers.

Today, he provides farrier services, horse training, and horses for sale across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin through Klein Equine.
